We Are a Muslim-Friendly Travel Publication
Though Battuta Magazine covers destinations primarily in the Middle East and beyond, we proudly position ourselves as a Muslim-friendly travel publication with a strong focus on halal travel and Middle Eastern coverage.
As part of our mission, we highlight only halal-friendly and Sharia-compliant experiences to help Muslim travelers explore the world with ease, safety, and confidence. Our Halal Travel and Muslim Travel sections feature curated content on halal food, Muslim-friendly stays, modest experiences, and faith-conscious itineraries.
In line with this policy, we do not cover anything related to alcohol, music, nightlife, or other topics not permissible in Islam. We maintain a deep commitment to ethical and faith-conscious content while supporting travelers of all backgrounds. Not all destinations we feature may be fully Muslim-friendly, but our goal is to provide helpful, respectful, and culturally aware travel guidance.
At Battuta Magazine, we see travel as a path to learning about Islamic history, heritage, and culture, as well as exploring the creations of Allah guided by Islamic principles. Our mission is to inspire passionate Muslim travelers toward meaningful journeys and purpose-driven travel. With this in mind, we publish content on Muslim travel, including Hajj and Umrah, Islamic history and heritage, historical landmarks, Muslim-friendly cities, travel tips, and more.
